Great month of March with some awesome NSW State championship comp results and successful grading tests in our combat styles of Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Women’s Only.
Lot’s happening in April with the bi-annual Black Belt Grading, School Holiday Camps, Hapkido Grading and preparation for the EXCITING Timetable update starting in May…

We send best wishes to Sharon, Vannie and Liana attempting 1st degree and to Kara, Elvis, Linda, Stuart and Jasmine attempting their 2nd degree Black Belt grading test coming up on Sunday April 19th.
These students have trained extremely hard for many years to get the privilege of attempting this grading.

A special class catered annually for all the Mums at GIANT!
All mothers were welcome to get on the mat with their kids and have some martial fun! Please share this free event to other mums with kids who you feel would benefit or just enjoy the great feel of the friendly GIANT family vibe!
When: All classes on both Monday 11th May and Tuesday 12th May, mothers can get on the mat with their children during their normal class time.

The 25th marks the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps 1915 landing at Gallipoli, Turkey in World War I. We will be closed on Anzac Day!

In today’s society, we can expect parents to over-step boundaries, particularly when it comes to coaching from the sideline.
Alot of us parents are guilty of this to a degree from time to time. This article is to help inform “sideline parents” of the harmful effects their actions are causing.
Forbes Magazine did a study of CEOs in Fortune 500 companies over 50 years and found that the top 5% of these CEOs had 3 consistent traits. They either had a background in; professional competitive sports, the military or martial arts. There is a direct correlation between the skills learnt in these areas that can be applied to all aspects of life.

Martial Arts has been proven to be a good way to burn calories and shred fat. This article will provide real evidence from three GIANT Martial Arts male adult students.

Jackie Chan born on the 7th April 1954, is a Hong Kong martial artist, actor, film director, producer, stuntman, and singer. He is well known for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, use of improvised weapons and innovative stunts a lot of which he performs himself. He is a Black Belt in Hapkido and trained in other Martial Arts styles such as Karate, Judo, Wushu Kung Fu Taekwondo and Jeet Kune Do.
Anthony is a full time instructor at Giant Martial Arts. He began his Martial Art training with brother Giorgio in August 2004, joining Youngs Martial Arts in Homebush, Sydney under the guidance of Master Jaesung Shin
